Holding an AVP in Shalya-Shalakya, Vaidya Gogate served as a postgraduate professor at Pune University, Principal of Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya and head of surgery at Seth Tarachand Ramnath Hospital. His research on Agnikarma, Viddhakarma and Raktamokshan gave Ayurveda a new direction.
